Doesn't work with Gameboy SP's configuration
1 of 1 found this helpful I tried trading between Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire and it doesn't work. It's better to spend the extra money on the official GBA link cable (AGB-005). With this cable you have to jam it into the gameboy for it to fit. With the official GBA link cable it doesn't take as much effort for it to fit. It's a bad indication if you feel like you're going to damage the device using this link cable.

Official link cable is the way to go
Worked flawlessly trading between Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire using two GBA SP consoles. Them cheap unbranded link cables don't work. Always pay more for the real deal.
