Too strong for small dogs
8 of 9 found this helpful It's too strong an ultrasound for my small dogs. I used it once outside on their walk when they started barking at another dog in the RV Park we live in and they refused to continue walking and if inside they try to get under something and then refuse to go outside. My smallest dog now refuses to go to the back and far side yard. It has caused more issues for "us" than we had before. It apparently does hurt their ears.
It seems to be of fine quality and it's nice that it has multiple settings and the flashlight. Just wish it didn't scare my dogs and make them cower. I feel terrible for the way they look at me and tuck their tails now when it's time to go outside.
