Monstrous performance in a sizeable package
2 of 2 found this helpful This is one of nvidia's latest offerings in graphics/video cards and it performs far better than most cards in the market today. It replaced an AMD (formerly ATI) card - namely the ASUS Radeon R9 270 2GB. After benchmarking several tests it quite literally performs twice as well as my former card. Granted 4 times the memory size this was the least of my expectations, yet it meets all current and near-future gaming requirements such as DirectX 12, VR, G-Sync, HDMI 2.0b, and Display Port (DP) 1.4. I can play most games with ultra graphics settings even cranking out the max in resolution for my 4K monitor with little to no stuttering with the highest settings enabled. I'm in love with this card and I know it will last me a long time much like my old GeForce 8800 GTX did about over a decade back. The only drawback you may have with this card is its sheer size as it will take two slots up (as most high-end cards are wont to do these days) and it appears deceptively small in promo and photo shots. This thing will stretch way inside your case so be prepared to rewire and clean up things inside your case to make room for this beast. Otherwise, I'm very happy with this card and may even consider going SLI down the road with another as monitor tech catches up.
