Great medium duty station
Great basic soldering station, medium duty but that is all I need for weekends tooling around on guitars.

Used for almost 20 years
The Texas Custom Shop is not designed to be a vintage twang pickup. Buy a vintage model for that. it is designed to be a more modern sound, more mids, more bite although it isn't particularly hot. Sounds thick and twangy clean. With slight break up, it stays very articulate. Mid breakup is very smooth and again, articulate. You can go full blown 70s rock with it and it sounds very authentic, almost like a bright humbucker. Going metal with it is foolish and it will squall. It isn't traditional, it is almost like a shift towards a P90 or bright humbucker and very good for an all around guitar sound, blues, country rock or traditional rock.

Rock solid
Just a great all around set of tuners. Well built in the USA, they lock fine. Nicer than Schaller, not quite as nice as Sperzel, but a good value and professional quality.
