DVD's played well and were new. However, the plastic case tore while trying to open it to get to the DVD.

Great for dorm room!
I had to return the smaller brackets and the return was hassle-free. I ordered the XL and they work perfectly for my daughter's dorm room windows. They are sturdy and are able to hold the weight of a curtain rod and drapes. The perfect solution for windows that are encased in cinder (sp?) block.
