Tonerider Humbucker Pickup: Alnico IV PAF (AC4) Humbucking Pickup for Les Paul

Sweet as a nut!

I bought this neck pickup - in zebra - to drop into a new Epiphone Les Paul Traditional Pro 2. The existing Epi pickups were ok, but I already had this pickup for the bridge position, knocking around in my spares box, so I thought I'd make it a set. It turned out to be a good choice foir this guitar. I've used Tonerider humbuckers before, but this time, they really make the guitar sound sweet, in a very welcome vintage way. The natural resonance of the guitar works well with the AC4s, good all round EQ, with neither lows nor highs dominating, but with slightly more pronounced mids. A very good pickup anyway and highly recommended.

Excellent stuff!

My first ginseng tea for several years and I’m pleased to say I still love it. As I always did, I mixed it with fresh lemon juice & a little honey. Great for an early morning boost and my wife, who had not previously tried ginseng, also likes it. Job done, I’d say...!

Neil's 80s odds 'n' ends...

The tracks on this CD are various snippets from his 80s output, generally recognised as not his best period - to put it mildly. Nevertheless, it is worth a punt, even if only for the unreleased tracks, some of which had not been released at the time this CD was issued. But is it a CD you'll return to many times? I doubt it.
