Broken Music
Broken Music was an interesting read about the somewhat Byzantine world of music fame and the path Sting followed to get there. Though I found the book interesting, I also felt sad about the general tone of the book and the essential darkness of it. If artists are "tortured souls", then it seems this bears it out. How can one feel sorry for a famous person who has achieved all he'd hoped to? Read this book and you'll find out. Still, if you are interested in how a jazz man achieved pop fame, you'll find this path very interesting.

A better understanding of Giftedness is explored well in this book.
This is a book for a limited audience, truthfully. Truly "gifted" people will say "Aha!" and recognize some real insight from this read. Some will say parts of it are interesting because all the "gifted" are not gifted with the same interests. A very few will be excited by the entire book and it is for them a page turner. If you don't "get it" you are not gifted to the extent "giftedness" is described in this book. It does not mean you are not going to glean something from this. To the contrary, you might understand why "geeks" are not "freaks" after reading this. There are some quite interesting statistical datum that will surprise any reader. The statistics about prison populations is quite interesting. If you don't mind wading through a book this might be your book, and if you are puzzled about why you seem to have so little patience with people, this just might be a book that opens you eyes.

Milk Money
Not for Kids, but this film will give you a laugh at the innocence of youth and the naivete of the intellectual elite when crossing paths with the streetwise!
Ed Harris and Melanie Griffith really make this film fun to watch. Don't get too wrapped up with reality on this one... just sit back and enjoy it for entertainments sake. It is a comedy with a message so pop the popcorn and enjoy!
