Poor design

First off one of the rod holders came with the plastic broken and they were packed 3 to a box. The box had no damage on it so I can only conclude it was either shipping broken or it’s very fragile. Second it claimed to fit 1” rails but the screws were to short and I had to purchase new screws at Home Depot so I could install them . They seem to hold on well and hold the rods ok but they didn’t get much pressure on them for the 3 hours I fished
