Polaris P955 outdoes its predecessor
Does everything my P455 did and more. Awesome product. Works very well and the remote makes it better.

Worse than BBBs
2 of 2 found this helpful It looked good, and should have worked. But it did not, right out of the box. The video had black shadows flashing through it, and kept flashing white. A sure sign of a weak video chip. Recording is iffy, sometimes it records, other times not. Was it a second or knock-off... perhaps, but it just may not be ready for prime-time. I should have bought the cheapo at BBB.

The search for a charging combination
Plugging and unplugging is detrimental to the plug port. Day in and day out you will wear it out then you are stuck with a device that cannot be used because you cannot charge it. Wireless would solve this if only you could. I ended up buying seven different set-ups and finally found this one on ebay. I bit the bullet and bought one that cost nearly 3x what I previously bought. Now this one WORKS! Even when I put the Note 4 in an otterbox defender. The others I bought would not charge through even 1 layer of the Otterbox. With this receiver I can charge my Note 4 through a fully clad Otterbox Defender. It works with even the cheapest pad I bought (sometimes only sideways). But it works.
You may have to move it around until you find the "sweet spot" and that may mean the edge or even sideways on the pad but 4 out of five of the pads I bought do work with the setup I have. If you are looking for one that will work this one is the one to get FIRST. Especially if you plan to protect your device with a case. I even bought a back plate charger, found it would not fit my Otterbox (too big) and even bare it did not charge. THIS one is the one I should have bought FIRST.
