Did not work well.
Sadly, the fluorescent tube I received worked for only a few minutes. After I installed it, all was well, then after about a minute, it went dark. When I turned it on again, the same thing happened. At that point, I notice a dark band on both parts of the tube (24W) approx. 1/2 to 3/4" at the base. I don't know if that means anything, but I do not remember seeing that on other bulbs I have used in my Ottlite. Disappointing.
