Don’t waste your time and money with this filter
the O ring will fail and leak steering fluid .mine started the first day
To make it work you have to replace the O ring with a better one and use black silicone around the O ring and a hose clamp to tight up the filter so it will not come apart on the road , this is the only way you can make this filter work otherwise you will have leaks and other problems with the steering

It’s not universal won’t fit in all cars
This is not universal make sure it fits in your car before you buy it look at the shape in your OBDs car and look at the pictures of the item If they are the same shape,
very important in the center of the plug the clear plastic if you look closely there are 2 plastic plates between pins if your cars OBD does not have an open space in the middle for those plates to go in this will not work don’t bother
