I can hike again

I broke my knee and have patella tracking problems. This brace has enough support to help my knee function right without being overbearing. I wear it for hiking, skiing and heavy work.

Good old school, canadian, army strong skis. Perfect condition.

It seems sometimes the skiing world forgets that in ungroomed snow, a long and narrow ski is a fast and good glide ski. These "made in canada" skis should be good for classic backcountry which is a bit more like regular low angle trails that for steep deep powder jump turns where more float and speed reduction is a higher priority. These really feel army strong and the skins also available are a good deal. Compared to my existing '80 vintage 185cm foam core dynafits used for AT, these are about a pound lighter for the pair. The waist is about 5mm wider and the ski is pretty stiff (army guys wear packs) so they may not be as easy to turn, so real old school turning skills may also come in handy. The existing 185's were probably sprung for a light person because back in the day anybody big and skilled used 200+. So if you know what your priorities are, this could be a good ski for you.
