Location and antenna = near perfect reception
1 of 1 found this helpful I first just had this laying on my dresser until I could get it mounted outside. Be aware that it really is not designed to be placed inside. It just does not stand well on its own. So it really should be mounted somewhere. Either in the attic or outside.
First I live outside of Ft Myers, so I don't can not get that many channels to begin with.
At first it did not get any extra channels. But, the ones it did get got a lot clearer and did not have signal drop that I was incurring with previous antenna.
Then it was mounted LOW outside (keyword being 'low'). WOW what a difference !!!!!! For the first time I was able to get ch22, which is a very low power network 30+ miles from my location. I would sometimes still get signal drop. I then rotated the antenna and everything came in a LOT better. Now ALL channels come in perfect with NO signal drop. Also on clear nights I can get some Tampa stations, 120+ miles away!!
My final word: Location (and direction) still means everything but different antennas also matter and this one is King! Very much worth the money.

Saved me 190$ !!!
Easy to program. Had to working on minutes. Seams to made with good quality. Saved me 190$ over what the dealership wanted.

There are better remotes. Needs to be redesigned.
2 of 2 found this helpful Pro: Most buttons are easy to access and press. The backlight button glows in the dark. Comfortable to hold.
Cons: The main buttons UDLR are WAY TOO SMALL and are hard to press.
The IR directional view is WAY TOO NARROW, You MUST point this remote DIRECTLY at the TV or it does not work. Absolutely ridiculous when a coffee mug on a coffee table blocks the IR signal.
Backlight is very dim. It's usable but just very dim.
Summary: Eh Not very happy with it but it is better than the remote that came with the TV. If they fix the main 2 issues, it will be a very good remote. But with the small and hard to press UDLR buttons , I say find something else.
