Underrated thriller
Although Andrew Sarris wrote him off in his “ Less than Meets the Eye” chapter of his seminal book The American Cinema,
Robert Wise was a very skilled director who could make any kind of a film including this one, one of his last, A virus thriller that you can certainly relate to today. I saw it in a theater when I was 10. It was rated G. I loved it then and still love it.

Good but cheaply made
This book I bought immediately when I saw it for sale on eBay. I collect original movie posters from all over the world but only of films I’ve seen and loved for one reason or another. I own an original of one of the posters in this book and consider Satyajit Ray a great filmmaker. So as happy as I was when I saw this for sale , I was
a bit disappointed by the quality of the prints of the posters in the book. They were obviously copied through a computer. It looks like the book was self-published by its author , an MD from India that loves Ray’s films. I give him kudos for trying but would’ve payed double for a book with excellent graphics/images of the posters. In fact, the book is a bit overpriced in my opinion for what you get. Long live Satyajit Ray !!!!

Bronson’s Best Role
2 of 3 found this helpful This is Charles Bronson’s shining moment on screen in a long movie star career. He appeared in a lot of crap along the way but this is a great movie and one of the most under appreciated ones. I don’t know why. I heard even Pauline Kael liked it and she was notorious for trashing most most of the movies she reviewed.
