these are the old version of the Makita 18v 4Ah
I got them at a great price. The only difference I can tell from the newer model is the integrated power meter in the new ones that these lack. No matter to me though as my Makita grinder has an led meter built into it. One of these batts will run the grinder for approx 30-40 minutes. In that amount of time the other battery has finished charging.
I am very happy with my new Makita 4 1/2in grinder, fast charger, and 2-4Ah battery setup that I pieced together from Ebay sellers for about half of what it would have cost from Amazon

strong feeling and light
The only thing about these bars being different from the usual all carbon bars that I notice is that these are glossy instead of matte finish. I like them a lot. Not as wide as the fad these days is for bars to be but great for me and my old Blur.
