great fan

I've installed a number of ceiling fans and this one was easier than most, even tho it has a light and a remote. The instructions were easy to follow, it's very quiet and does a great job. I'm very pleased with it.

It could be quieter

I've had the unit for about 3 weeks and it's been running almost continuously trying to get the humidity down to the mid 40's. It was hovering around 47% last check. I had a common problem with this unit (according to other reviews), I have the hose hooked up, and yet, the bucket still filled and shut the unit off. A call to the service dept told me to check the hose for obstructions, and if if there weren't any, put a 3/4" block under the front wheels to till the unit backwards. (the hose hooks to the back). The hose was clear, so I tried the block which worked immediately. My previous (other brand) unit didn't need this, so it makes me wonder about the quality of design for this unit. The quiet question only offered a Yes and No option. I would rate this one in the middle. It's a little louder than my previous unit. I haven't seen the "smart dry" feature work yet. Maybe it'll kick in when the unit gets the humidity closer to my setting of 45%. Steve 8-19-16 update I've had it about 3 months and have raised the desired humidity setting to 50% trying to get the unit to quit running now and then. It says the humidity is in the low 50's and it is running in the 'smart dry' mode but it runs all the time. My previous unit used to reach the desired level and shut off now and then for a few hours at least, but, it is working.
