Totally gives a clear understanding of how sexual abuse-by-priests has been dealt with by catholic church
VERY well-researched, the author was "on the scene" to do many interviews, and he understands and writes about the sexual-abuse-by-priests situations that have occurred in the last few decades. If one wants to know how church leaders conducted things when parents went to them about their children, read this book. Jason Berry, still a catholic by choice, has spent years of his life devoted to researching and writing about this horrible situation. This book and his 2 other books on the subject will just about tell you all the angles involved, and the roadblocks, etc.
