Not universal
The directions were bad. The kit had different parts than my “original” faucet, and it still dropped after installation. I had to use a combination of new and old parts to rebuild the faucet like it was originally so it would not drip. It took several trial and error combinations of those old and new parts. It shouldn’t be that tough to put together the right combination of items to properly replace the worn parts!!!!
