Good direct replacement for previous Kidde units
Replacement for my previous Kidde detectors that had reached end-of-life after seven years. Direct replacement using the same connector and mounting plate. I installed both photoelectric and ionization types for better protection.
Only rated this with four stars because there are newer, better, detectors now but they were out of stock for an unknown amount of time. I bought these because I needed to have something installed. These aren't bad, just not the best available now.

Works as expected at a good price.
Worked well to extend a USB 2.0 webcam to a wall mount location. It's a cable, what else is there to say. :-)
