Really (fine quality metal knobs) nice gear!

I did NOT find a better price anywhere; my wife found (here, locally) a differently-styled set (at just a few dollars additional cost) that she likes very much more than this set. I did (of course, cautiously) disagree with her, but was (also, of course) out-voted. mistakenly thawt this item was an earlier model & made in USA

i'm trying 2 b optimistic that this knife WILL hold 2gether & keep its edge 4 a good while; since anectdotal (hearsay) info 2 me has presented sum not-infrequent 'Quality Assurance' issues with those Appalach Trail items which have been manufactured in China subsequent 2 those that HAD been 'Made in USA' Respectfully, John Cosmo Polizzi

Needed batteries & slight repair needed.
