8 of 18 found this helpful The lens is ONLY ideal when shooting portraits shoots. It is very challenging to shoot at 1.2 and get a tack sharp photo. You will definitely want to invest in a good tripod to help with these tight shots... The focus is also slow, but if all the stars line up just right, you can get some incredibly good shots. For me, I have found much greater results shooting this lens at 1.6, 1.8 for some great stuff. The bokeh in this lens will melt away everything when set at 1.2... Even with its donwsides, I would still purchase this lens again and simply reserve it more so the studio room.. A great piece, yeah, buy it, you won't regret it...
