Small, quiet, but powerful!
I replaced my old unit with this one. After 1 week, I checked the filters and the unit picked up lots of pet hair, dust & gunk! If you're a light sleeper, turning the fan to low helps.
Cons: rear filter housing cover "hums" at times. I had to add a small foam cushion to stop the noise.
"Ion on" light is way too large & bright. I turn it off at night.

Will work for a while, then...
Worst product ever. Don't take my word, search on youtube and read what people will go thru to get this to work. Kodak filed for bankruptcy soon after the cameras came out, so don't expect any help from them! There is a video on youtube that had a fix. It shows someone smashing it with a hammer...

Not a bad deck in 1982, but problematic design.
5 of 6 found this helpful I own two of these decks, one, brown with wood case & remote, one silver/silver case. Remote works in either unit. I loved the features in 82, but heads prone to wear, as is the capstan motor. Solenoid switch on record/playback PCB needs cleaning to stay working. All in all, I like this deck, but better designs available, but if you have the skill to repair/maintain it,I would recommend it!
