Have to get used to it
I've been calling Turkey's over 50 years with friction calls. I have many box calls and this one by far takes the most practice to get accustomed to, at least for me it is. I have a Mad Cherrybomb and I called like a pro with it in a few minutes. It seems like the sound producing area on the paddle is a bit too small. For me to produce worthwhile sounds i must hold the paddle and strike the box against thr paddle. I've yet to make a half decent purr. I'm sure some of you will love it. I'm only speaking for myself. For the cheap price, I shouldn't complain. Maybe i expected more from it because it is made by Mad. If you buy one practice and practice. There are calls out there easier for me to use. I'm giving mine away to a poor kid that can't even afford a cheap call, so it's not being wasted.

Nice fine lines
Great for when you need to write or draw with very fine lines. I got yhe assortment of different sized pens. Even the largest is fine enough for me. I use the .05 (45mm ) the most for signing my artwork and its amazing. People ask me how i can write so finely and small. Best of all its indullable. It puts an extra fine Sharpie to shame.
