Black is not necessarily the best.
I am a long term user of this product and my results from the "color units" has consistently been good. Unfortunately, results from the black cartridges has always been mixed. Some units are good for only a dozen or so copies; then they quickly die. Some never worked at all; and even average life-time has not been the best. Only about one in ten of the black cartridges work (number of copies) as well as I would expect). I did purchase some black units from another source that worked substantially better; but that source now appears to provide a still different brand. As you probably know, I have continued to do my cartridge business with you; only wish the black Kodak cartridges were both good and consistent. Sometimes I wonder if a dark brown cartridge in the "black cartridge size" would work. Most of my documents would be okay with a dark color. Jack

Good kodak cartridges at fair price.
Kodak aftermarket ink seems to be difficult for suppliers to deliver in USABLE condition. So far, the first of the black inks provided by this supplier has been excellent.

Good product or poorly implemented attempt
The photo of this product left mixed emotions. Plastic use was obvious; but I hoped it would be more professionally implemented. Top of unit freely moves in any lateral direction by at least one inch with forces under 10 pounds. Only thing that feels stable is my 4x4 support. Doubt the unit is a rain-tight as a $20. hardware store metal box. Rear door for newspaper reclaim is a joke. Save your money and buy a quality box that you can view first hand prior to spending the money.
