The Lemonheads - The Best Of The Lemonheads
Best of the Lemonheads, the Atlantic Years...there are good, better and best versions of this CD available, all under the same title. The good one has 12 tracks and is a nice sampler of Evan and Co's post Taang Label hits and songs that should have been hits. The better version has 19 tracks, again, same title, adding a few acoustic tracks as well as a few tunes that REALLY should have been on the 12 track version. Even Rick James throws his support into track 19.
The Holy Grail version of The Lemonheads - The Best Of The Lemonheads, is the rare 21 track version. WELL WORTH THE HUNT and few extra $$$.
Any version is a testimony to an artist and a band that somehow slipped under the radar of pop superstatdon while delivering a number of memorable tunes. After the first listen, this one'll be hard to get out of the CD player!!!
