Best laptop I have ever had
5 of 5 found this helpful I bought it as part of a gift (setting up a portable photobooth for my daughter) but I am really tempted to keep this laptop for personal use and get another one for her gift. It is overpowered to be used for a solitary purpose. It boots up faster than my P4 desktop, runs very quietly, the onboard wireless works great, the DVD rom reads quickly. It more than sufficiently equipped to handle windows 7, but I think it is just fine with XP. This is a great laptop. The only down side I can see to it is that it might be heavier and more bulky than some newer laptops.

Worth the investment
I used these as a frame to hold up hard cases, and they have worked out very well. With the turn signals and helmet locks moved back, it gave me a lot of room to mount the cases as high or low as I chose. I mounted the cases using cable clamps, 1/4-20 nuts/bolts, lock washers, and some fender washers to spread out the load points. Everything holds up well. If I were mounting bags again I would do it the same way again.
