Versatile Drill
1 of 1 found this helpful I just installed a 12x15 sub-floor in my attic by screwing 1x10x12ft wood planks to the joists using this very versatile and powerful drill. While I chose to drill pilot holes before attaching the self-drilling screws using the lowest rpm, I tried attaching a few screws without the pilot hole using a higher rpm. It worked great. Also, the LED beam not only made it easy to locate the proper placement of each screw, but it enabled me to see exactly when each screw head was flush with the surface of the wood so I could cease drilling. I would not have been able to be so precise under normal lighting conditions. I might also add that the light weight and balance of this drill made the job physically easy, and the
low noise levels at the speeds with which I used the drill did not require the use of ear plugs. In conclusion, I love this drill so much that I'm actually looking for other around-the-house projects just so I can use the drill.
