simple to hook up!

I use this on a 86 pound thrust trolling motor. Have had no problems with it at all. Hooks up easy handles the load very well. I will add that if you are using your motor at full thrust you should hook you motor right up to the battery. This is not a super powerfull unit so trying to go full speed could damage the unit. And you really don't use speed control at full speed anyway. The battery lasts at least several times longer than if you didn't use this. Alot cheaper than buying a motor with maximiser built in. Try one the price is right!

Quality controller easy on the wallet

very good speed controller I have used many of these in the past this one is the best for the price!

better than I thought

Not as good as the 100 dollar models but for the price very good. And I did use it in the rain no problem even comes with spare ear covers for the part you put in your ear. Nice product!
