They block the laser light...
They block my 200mW laser light but they distort your vision otherwise so badly that you can't wear them for more than a minute or so. I expected them to not block as much laser light but not distort my vision otherwise like they do. Considering most decent pair of these are ~$50 and lab quality are ~$350 or $400, you get what you pay for.

Good bit that does it's job.
i'm not a machinist so I kinda figured I would get a used but good condition reamer. This reamer really is brand new. Def cuts like it's brand new.
