Great family show in a beautiful Western setting.
This is really one of the best TV shows ever. In this world of garbage TV, especially reality TV, I almost thought there was never going to be another family show to watch that wasn't for 2 year-olds. I love everything about it...the cast, the story line, the setting in Alberta, the horses, everything. It should be broadcast in the US, although it's not vile enough for most people in this country!
I bought the DVDs to support the show instead of just watching it on Netflix. I hope it lasts for a long time to come.

I've barely touched them and the felt is already starting to come off. I had to super glue it back on already.

Great reality show
I look at this more as a documentary than a reality show, as it doesn't seem nearly as staged. I like the fact that they showcased three completely different families and ranches...from a "one man show" to a 100,000 acre mega-ranch.
The only sad thing is it makes me realize I much I hate my boring life and would love to live one of theirs :)
Great show, I've watched the whole thing three times now and will watch it again. Great job, Animal Planet!
