THE SCRIPTURES IN PICTURES
THE SCRIPTURES IN PICTURES
My first Bible cost two-and-six.
And how long ago that was.
My Bible had some coloured pics.
But not one that showed the Cross!
The decades passed until I bought
A New Testament as well.
A comic book, well done, I thought.
With some precious tales to tell!
Later still, I'm glad to see,
There's The Action Bible, too.
Precious pictures and scenery,
So there's even more to view!
I'd like to get a hundred more,
The Gospel still to share,
So other folks could then explore
Every revelation there!

Fetchtv 160GB HDD Freeview + TV Recorder

Freeview Hard Drive Recorder and exporter of recordings to USB drives, too
With these, the Fetch TV and Sky services are no more. We can retune to get SD and HD Freeview channels. We can use signal boosters if necessary to get better reception. If not, then expect problems with Freeview aerials n longer suited to the restricted range of Freeview groups from 21 to 61 or 21 to 49. Older aerial installations may require upgrades and filters fitted so check the channel 100 for the Freeview Helpline info or Google. Adjust the Menu settings to get to change the screen width displays for 4:3 or 16:9 as some TV shows appear incorrectly till reset using Audio and Video settings. Use Timeshift on or switched off. Use rewind to discover anything you can manually record before erasing the Timeshift storage. Use USB drives and try the 32 GB drives such as Integral and DataTraveler and Intenso. Copy recordings to the USB drives to clear out more space on the 160 GB hard drive. NB there's a 320 GB hard drive version, too. The back panel has a mini DIN scart output circle. Use with an official scart cable of this type and pins. Connect the standard scart connector to the DVD Recorder or TV. Buy when there's a user guide available or check Google for PDF file instead. For updated Freeview considerations try the NOW TV box with Freeview or the Netgem Netbox or the Netgem 4K Netbox. These aren't recorders as such but useful as Smart TV receivers for other Internet services... tinyurl-dot-com/rthome is the Radio and Telly website forum for more info...

Useful HDMI feature, remote control and front panel options.
This has the extra HDMI output and not just the standard 21-pin scart input and output. HDMI can be enhanced using the HDR choice on some 4K Smart TVs, so test that HDR option and its settings to see if you can improve brightness and contrast and colour tone and so on. The recorder has thumbnail images for each recording and we can edit the name to a better one for title purposes and episode identification, too. I link a Funai DVD Recorder to the Toshiba Recorder and then the HDMI to the 4K or HD TV. HDMI improves the displays for text and smaller text on our screens. The remote control has a lot of details to test as to what they can help us to learn. We can discover these in time and some of the actions are clearly seen on the front panel itself. So we can switch between HDD and DVD that way. The front panel includes the extra 3-circles audio and video cable inputs. It also has the S-VHS video cable alternative for a superior quality cable connection, too. The cleaning DVD disc may not actually help if it can't be accepted so that doesn't help fix such a dirty laser reading action. So what gets to be useful today may not actually work as well later on. My chief purpose is to use the HDMI feature but there are scart to HDML adaptors that could also act as ways to display what a DVD Recorder or a set-top box transmits.
