Very quiet and energy efficient, but does not last long.
This is a good replacement for Panasonic FV-08VKSL1 fan with light (exactly the same dimensions). I had two FV-08VKSL1 fans in my house, they were quiet and energy-efficient, but unfortunately they do not last long, the average life is 5 years. I have replaced them both with identical FV-08VKSL1 fans once in the past, but they died again, and now it is not possible to buy FV-08VKSL1 any more. So I bought two FV-0511VQL1 fans, one of them on eBay. I am not sure how long will these last.

Linksys EtherFast 4116 switch
I have hardwired ethernet in my home, from one to three 100BaseT outlets per room. I installed Cat5E cables in the walls when I bought the house, before I moved in. The other ends of all Cat5E cables go to a patch board in the basement. The internet switch I had for many years did not have enough ports to connect all the rooms at the same time, therefore whenever I took a laptop from one room to another, I had to run to the basement and reconnect some cables. Then the old switch started to have some glitches. I had to power it off and back on from time to time. Finally, after reading lots of good reviews, I bought Linksys EtherFast 4116 and replaced the old switch. All cables in my home are now connected to ports and there are still three ports left for future extension. Life got easier: I do not need to reconnect patch cables in the basement anymore. Linksys EtherFast 4116 is 100% reliable, it is compatible with all network devices in my home, including three laptop computers, two desktop computers, one network printer, etc.. I tested it with both 100BaseT and 10BaseT devices at the same time, and this did not slow down anything. In another test I moved large files from one computer to another computer, printed on the network printer from the third computer, and downloaded information from the internet to the fourth computer. All operations performed at full speed, as expected. Conclusion: for small networks, where 16 ports are sufficient, this is an excellent ethernet switch.
