Highly recommended.
I bought Roomba 400 4 years ago for a $105 or so. It is still working great. I just replaced the battery and periodically change filters. I love my little slave.

Don't hesitate to upgrade your old laptop
There was a choice either upgrade my old ThinkPad T60 or to buy a current model T430. I replaced HDD to SDD and upgraded OS from XP to Win7. It works much faster now. It is far enough for everyday computing.
