First, I will share a few things that are really annoying about this phone. 1) You basically need to only call with a Bluetooth headset as the screen does not stay off during calls and you will inevitably dial numbers. 2) The Bixby routines lack things like WiFi disconnection as triggers. 3) Even with large hands, it is extremely easy to cover the speaker or the microphone while holding the phone. 4) You have to be careful about USB C accessories as generic audio dongles do not work and legacy USB adapters do not work if they are flipped.
This is NOT a phone for someone who is uncomfortable with technology as I literally spent several hours in the settings even after importing from my Galaxy S7.
Now for the things I like about this phone. 1) USB C enables a really cool DeX mode for using apps on a larger monitor. 2) Focus modes and Bixby routines help minimize distractions. 3) Lasts about 2 days with fairly heavy usage for me. 4) Samsung Pay

Short cord, excessive force on polarized plugs
The cord is really short, even though the auto winding feature is kind of nice. I have to use excessive force to get polarized plugs in. I like the separate power buttons by level, the generous spacing between outlets, and the USB ports. Had the power cord been longer and polarized plugs fit properly this would have warranted 4 stars.

Needs Firmware Tweaks, But Helps Reduce Barking
While I like the concept, I think the implementation could use some work. I found that the video lags by nearly 30 seconds and the treats lag by about 5 seconds so you can't really use it for training. The random sound mode has a bug where it plays the alleycat sound but gives treats which interferes with level 3 training. The time involved on the sounds needs to be longer or adjustable as my nearly 1 year old dog was literally right next to it and often misses the treat leading to frustration. The feeder is quite loud and forceful. I wish that the device could be used without internet either through LAN or BLE.
I realize that this review has a lot of negatives for a fairly positive rating. Sure I wish the retail price would be closer to $100, but even at $200 it is cheaper than the $500 the gen 1 cost. More importantly, my dog is reactive and destructive and this can help manage that.
