Excellent compromise between comfort and closeness, & a great value!
2 of 2 found this helpful This is a great value and a recommended choice for all who want to be thrifty and ecologically responsible by double-edge shaving. This razor, when used with the appropriate LIGHT PRESSURE OF RAZOR AGAINST BEARD can offer a reasonably and completely adequate close shave while being pretty safe for sensitive skin. If you think it's too aggressive, lighten up your pressure. If you think it's too mild, hone your skills. I, personally tried this model early in my DE-shaving experiences and thought it just a bit aggressive (because I have sensitive skin). After acquiring more experience, I have returned to the LP1822L as one of my favorite razors -- as perfect a compromise as I can find between offer both a close and comfortable shave. Recommended.

Good protection & value
A good product and one that I will repurchase when this one eventually fails (as they eventually do from normal wear and tear). My only minor complaint is that the hard plastic shell that snaps over the soft rubber inner shell is molded a millimeter large at the lower right corner, resulting in just a slightly imperfect fit. This is a minor issue and the only small criticism that I could make of this otherwise fine product.
