This didn't work unless the stun part is...

This didn't work unless the stun part is in the on mode. If in the on mode both flash light and stun gun works but in the off mode the flash light doesn't work. This is 2nd one I purchased and the other the flashlight works in the off position but lost a screw at other end and I needed to replace it.
