Plastic
Truth is, if you have the same smooth surface Jenn Air cooktop that I do, the knobs are plastic and you WILL have to replace them. It's annoying that a supposedly top notch appliance company would use plastic for their knobs. It's annoying that little plastic replacement knobs are over $12 each. It's annoying that there are no after-market metal substitutions. So, you're stuck with these. They fit, they work, they look like metal... but they're still plastic... and they will need replacing in another year or two.

Great storage space and organization
1 of 1 found this helpful This fit my 8" wide cabinet space perfectly and greatly improved the storage capacity and organization. It took a bit of time for me to install by myself- an extra pair of hands would have helped, but it seems sturdy. Two thumbs up.

Fit the bill
The four teeth on my starter spindle had worn down badly. This kit came with that and much more. I replaced everything while I was there. The recoil spring was the hardest part. You'll need to watch a couple of youtube videos as the directions that came with the kit were sparse. Still, very doable for a diy-type like me and the tiller started right up. Husband was happy. ;)
