Judy Garland Lives!
This is among the best biopics I’ve seen. Renee Zellweger inhabits the character. OUTSTANDING acting! She's got all the moves, all the movements, AND the voice. No dubbing here: Zellweger does all her own singing. It's jaw dropping.

Documents the best of humanity
Beautiful photos. Compelling first person stories. Clearly documents what wonderful things people are able to accomplish when life is approached with an open and giving heart. When we are our best and most authentic selves everything is possible.

A bit dated, but still very engaging
A bit dated? Sure. After all it was made in 1988. Demonstrates how much things have changed for women in the workplace AND how much further we still have to go. Seeing the 3 stars when they were SO much younger was a real treat. Melanie Griffith would likely have been carded if she went into a bar and ordered a drink. Oh, and for those of you not familiar with (or wanting to revisit the era of) "BIG HAIR”, you won't see bigger hair anywhere.
