Premium feeling all-rounder, but DOES NOT support android apps.
Although plastic, the build quality is feels very tight and solid. In my opinion, it feels better than Acer R11.
The screen is one of the nicer looking ones compared to other small chromebooks and can get very dim for when you're using it at night. It can even turn all the way off while the chromebook is still on. The screen and black bezel is made with gorilla glass so it is very sturdy feeling and doesn't flex when you press on it. The touch screen is quite responsive and accurate but a few times, when I tried to close a tab, it would take a few seconds for it to close, but other than that, this chromebook is fast.
If you know chromebooks, you'll know that pretty much everything opens up in the browser, and with this one, when you click on something, it opens up almost instantly and the time it takes to load the pages is pretty fast as well.
The keys feel pretty good. The quality is on par with something like a mid-range dell laptop.
I don't know exactly how long the battery lasts but as with most chromebooks, it lasts long enough to where you won't need a charger. If you're doing a full day of school and will need to use a laptop for a good portion of the day, then it will definitely last.
The sound from the speakers are okay, not great, but not terrible either. They actually sound decent and not tinny, but just don't lack any depth. Although the sound when plugged into headphones are great.
This chromebook is pretty much identical to the HP Chromebook 11 G5, so it might not be a bad idea to get this one if it's a lower price, BUT I have to warn you: THE PLAY STORE IS NOT SUPPORTED (yet), so you can't get Android apps on here. If that's a big selling point for you, then the G5 (or other chromebooks) is the one to buy.
