A quality light that just isn't very bright
I have been trying to find an LED "bulb" to replace the high energy use 100 watt halogen 78mm R7S unit in our three R7S T3 78mm lights. Unfortunately this unit is, as the ad said, equivalent to a 40 watt incandescent bulb. I was hoping for better because I bought LED units that are 500 lumens and those are REALLY bright. These LED units are supposed to be bright, at best, equal to a 40 watt incandescent bulb.
Not a practical light for a bathroom sink/mirror area. It is too bad that the only bright LED units are those that are 118mm size (floodlights). We hope someday someone will make a bright R7s T3 78mm LED replacement.
