Good to have alternatives
I called the local washer part’s dealer to try and order this part it was no longer available. The person tried handing me off to his parts supplier. I think the sales person was more interested in selling a washer. Great to have an alternative.
Washer is fixed and working although the timer was not the issue. I now have a spare. I replaced the dryer door switch and cleaned out clogged dryer lint vent hose. Set up a six month routine to clean dryer lint vent hose. Not sure when the last time it was cleaned. I also added a second lint vent trap.
