Chinese 30v 10A DC Switching Power Supply (SPS)
Reasonable buy for money. This is an OK SPS for casual use...but no way considered a lab quality SPS. The biggest technical downside is that it produces copious amounts of Radio Frequency Interference (RFI) particularly at medium frequencies (300-3000 KHz). Voltage regulation and current limiting seem be to within specifications. Unit gets fairly warm at maximum rated load current of 10A. Internal fan speed appears to modulate (change speed) to the particular load. Recommend opening unit before first use and checking internal parts, connections, grounds and hardware security. Important Note: The supplied 120 VAC 3-prong IEC power cable had the Hot and Neutral connections switched. This is definitely a safety consideration so I swapped that cable with one of my own.

Some Cells Bad
2 of 5 LiIon ECR1632 coin cells were dead (less than 2.5v). Suspect shelf life of batteries had expired but could not find any 'good-by' date on packaging.
