I saw a Tube review written by John Templeton "The tone is better that almost anything I've heard.".
I enjoy "modern blues tones". So; I decided I'd try them in my Super Champ X2. Indeed I'm glad I did! I can't speak in audiophile terms of "3d and sound stage" etc so much. However; I did notice that the sound to me is more crisp and defined; and well; flat out excellent IMO. I've previously tried the JJs; some NOS stuff, and the stock Groove Tubes. Mr. Templeton also states "the blues tone was incredible, much smoother than NOS or JJ with a fluid musical distortion and moderate compression. By comparison, the JJ was louder, compressed hard and had a crunchy rock sound. No microphonics with the Tung-Sol and a very low noise floor. In a tweed amp like a Deluxe or Tremolux that is made for a 6V6, the blues players may pee their pants."
As a Blues player I have to agree with his assessment! I do have a DRRI and will try them in there as well, as these tubes are also recommended for DRRIs and any amp that uses these tubes. (different review cited for this) Oh My Good-i-ness! These tubes are really, really nice IMO! I did not see any reviews here for this tube set; and so I figured I needed to put this here in hopes of helping someone else out here that enjoys incredible blues (and other clear, crisp) tones. Even if you are more into rockin' tones - I'd still consider these. Of course YMMV. Or not.
Cheers!

Lifetime 80273 Fold in Half Square Table 34 Inch White
Jan 21, 2018
Durable; solid; portable; and lightweight
Nice solid; portable, and durable table - way better than the old brown particle board top one we had. The first one we bought gets lots of use as a game table and has held up well. Folding up for storage with a handle for carrying it is a big plus too. It is nice and stable. It is so good I bought 2 of them; specifically getting a matching second one for the garage too.
