SanDisk USB 16 GB Cruzer Fit USB 2.0 USB Flash Drive New ct
Jan 16, 2019
Quality iterm, perfect for cars and laptops where its small size is a bonus.
Perfect tiny little quality USB drive which is ideal for use in cars and laptops - anywhere where a sticking-out USB stick could easily be damaged. The counter to this, of course, is that it's easily lost! Its small size also means it doesn't have room for a lanyard connection to keep it secure to you, but if you want a tiny little quality 'stick', this is perfect. Typical SanDisk quality - does exactly what it should. Stunning value too.
Home 308054013 308054012 Homelite Ryobi Craftsman Trimmer Blower Carburetor Carb

High quality - amazing value.
Seems identical to the carb I removed from my Ryobi hedge trimmer. Every bit as well made as the original, and why would anyone rebuild a carb when you can have a brand new replacement for this sort of money?! It's an easy 5 minute job to swap, and then my trimmer fired up almost instantly. You then need to fine-tune the low and high speed jets. On that note, if you don't have the special tool for fitting over the jet screws, then do as I did - remove them (I had to grind a small spare pair of long-nosed pliers down to needle points to be able to slip around the jet screw heads to slowly undo them!). Clamp the heads gently in a vice and use a hacksaw to cut a screwdriver slot along the top surface. Set the saw blade at a 45o angle sitting in the existing side cut-out which goes to the top surface, and then lower the blade slowly as you cut across the top. Refit the jets to 'home' (don't do this tightly), and then back them out roughly a turn to a turn-and-a-half. The machine should fire up on this, so keep it going with the throttle until it warms up - you can also juggle the choke if you really need to. It's then a matter of first setting the 'low speed' jet (there's an 'L' stamped on the carb beside it) until you get smooth idling. If it's hard to keep it running, then adjust the idle speed screw (the big one) until you get a fast enough running speed for it to keep going, then adjust the L screw each way in small 'sweeps' so that you can find which way the engine prefers as it'll speed up and become more smooth the 'correct' way. Lower the idle speed down and readjust the L again as needed - small steps. Keep going like this until you have it at a proper idle speed and the engine is running smoothly. You will find a jet setting where the engine runs fastest and smoothest, and adjusting it EITHER way from this will worsen this; you have the correct setting! NB - at FAST 'idle' speeds, the blades may stay moving - you need to keep them covered during this process! Once the 'L'ow speed is smooth, you then need to repeat this process with the throttle opened up and the engine running at operating speed. It's more tricky to adjust the 'H'igh jet screw as the engine will be vibrating! But the same applies - 'sweeps' to detect which way is the correct way, then increasingly small adjustments until optimum is found. The engine will take a good minute or more to be fully warm - this is important.
APOLLO ANALOGUE DIAL FACE FRIDGE FREEZER THERMOMETER WITH HANGING LOOP
Oct 26, 2017
Works as it should.
Mum-in-law's fridge freezer seemed to be playing up, so I bought this to confirm that it wasn't cooling as well as it should. Tested it in my own FF first (which I knew to be working fine), and found the gauge to be pretty-much spot on in both the fridge and freezer recommended temp 'zones (as marked on the dial). Cheap, cheerful (well, I'm assuming it's a happy thermometer) and responds quickly to temp changes - so read it as soon as you take it out of the fridge. With a very wide temp range, it also shows you room temps, so it's handy for that too if you need. It ain't sofistikated, it ain't glamorous, it ain't hi-tech - but it works well. And is cheap...
