As Good as It Needs To Be
This product is well designed and with good workmanship. It does what it is supposed to do, i.e. furnish 5v for my dash camera.

Good Remote Control Features
1 of 1 found this helpful I was looking for a fan/light control that did not use a remote, but I couldn't find one. In some ways this control is superior in that once you select a combination of fan and light, the control remembers it and if on a wall switch, it holds those settings each time the switch is turned on. The control has to be used only when changing the settings, or the wall switch can be left on and the remote can be used for all control.
I am pleased with it.

Excellent Design, Major (fixable) Manufacturing Error
I would have given this 5 stars if it wasn't for a small manufacturing error with major implications in the one we received. Everything about this design is excellent. It performs well, it is attractive, and it is a perfect size.
The attachments are made by injection molding in a 2 piece mold. The mold used to make the pieces we received did not fit together properly and it resulted in a small edge in two places in the sealing surface at the end where it attaches to the handle. This small edge caused a leak at the handle, rendering it very unsatisfactory. It's possible that the attachments are normally finished to remove this edge, and we received pieces that didn't receive this manufacturing step.
The good news is that with a sharp knife or fine file (or both), you can scrape away the edge and it will no longer leak. This has to be repeated with each attachment that has a significant mold mark at the sealing surface that causes it to leak.
Otherwise, this is a great device.
