Good charger if you know the settings/voltage to run it at.

Tested and working well. The temperature compensation works. Be aware that Gel setting is best for most batteries. Just like my other Schumacher speed charger you will get 14.7 volts on gel, 15.3 volts on agm and about 16 volts on normal. I never run either one past the gel setting. I tested it on gel setting in my warm house and got 14.6 volts. On gel setting in the cold garage I got 15.3 volts. Temperature compensation for the cold seems to work as you can charge at higher volts in the freezing weather. All of my house and car batteries are agm sealed.

Perfect upgrade for my old water softener!

I upgraded from a "big box" store model that was way past it's prime. After a few tweaks to the settings it is working great! It is good quality and I no longer have to worry about running out of soft water before regeneration time. I got the 48000 grain just for that purpose. I added a whole house filter and I now have the best water I've ever had in the 20 years I have lived here. I have well water with mild iron and the pesky stains are no longer a problem. I highly recommend this unit.

Good value

I've only ran a couple of tests with a few things, but it's working good so far. It will easily run a 10 amp 1200 watt shop vac and a couple of fans. It should run the few appliances I need in a back up scenario with my battery bank. Plan on getting better cables than the ones that come with it. I got 2 awg for the batteries and 2/0 for the inverter. The picture was a fast temporary set up for testing. It will be hooked up properly with much thicker wire from opposing ends of the battery bank. It gives me a consistent 122-123 volts at the plug. I haven't tested the hard wire side yet.
