1 of 1 found this helpful For what its worth, compare apples with apples, Sony has done a good job with this set of earphones. The ambient noise cancellation works like a charm. I have an air conditioner that makes quite a racket in the background and using the correct fitting rubber ear pieces, it shuts it completely out with the help of Sony's app. The music is clear with an adjustable sound stage. With proper adjustments, the bass is solid and punchy. Again do not compare with over the ear headphones. The AI for letting ambient noise through is also good. I can actually hear people talking to me without taking the ear plugs off. Overall performance is great. I have no regrets picking this set up.
