Concise and hiseoriclly true.
The DVD is a compilation of the findings some of the nation's best liberal religious teachers, historians and researchers. It is an excellent capsule of the varied Jesus groups that existed after the crucifixion and how religious leaders, often zealots, like Paul promoted ideas of a radical change. The simple but difficult life and teaching of Jesus was changed into a theological environment that moved thinking from the rural teaching and action of Jessu to the urban views of Paul and teachings that were more acceptable to urban dwellers. The Jesus emphasis on love, good works and deeds changed into formalized creeds of beliefs.
The DVD is an excellent in presenting what happened, how the movement based on Jesus life and teaching changed into a structure about the need to believe certain things and the penalties for refusing to do so.
