Outer thread poor
This might work if you use a clamp attachment but not for a threaded one. The outer thread refused to engage with my pump head and ended up misaligned. No issues when I got a replacement from a different supplier.

Flawed design
I don’t how Truma have been getting away with selling this poorly designed product for so long. The inner pipe that carries the water is made from a plastic that is prone to kinks that restrict the flow of water. The pipe arrives with two 180 degree bends in order to fit in the outer retail packaging. I cut off the outer blue sheath to inspect the water pipe inside and as I suspected it had two permanent kinks in the water pipe that reduced the internal size of the pipe by about 80%. The hard material of the water pipe doesn’t spring back to its original size and every time the pipe is stored it wants to bend across the kink. Truma have selected the wrong material for the water pipe or the right material if burned out pumps and increased sales are their target
