A solid product—what I expect when buying Apple.
It's an Apple product, so I don't need the workarounds I need when using non-apple BT keyboards. It's sturdy. It feels solid when in typing position, and when holding up the screen in viewing position with the keyboard tucked away. This particular keyboard model has been in production for four years now, and Apple have definitely worked the kinks out. Note that it doesn't protect the back of the iPad; I applied a skin to eliminate scratches, but that won't stop dents. If back protection is important to you, there are back-only cases available that still permit keyboard attachment.
Overall, I recommend.

As solid as the Apple cable at a fraction of the price
Not only is it as solidly built if not more so than the Apple Lightning cable, each one comes with a hook-and-loop cable tie. It is recognized by Macs and iOS devices as a valid cable. And it's cheaper. What's not to like?

Performs exactly as advertised
I'm using this with a MacBook Air 11" and an Apple mini-display port to DVI adapter. This solid, inexpensive item allows me to use a 1080p tv as my monitor with no hassles.
